New Vodafone Toshiba 705T 3G Mobile Phone

Vodafone in Japan (soon to be called Softbank Mobile) announces the Toshiba 705T 3G mobile phone in Japan.

The new 3G handset comes in 3 colors including Splash Pink, which was designed with popular fashion brand STNY by Samantha Thavasa.

Features of the Toshiba 705T include 2 inch color display, 1.3 inch secondary display, 1.3MP camera, miniSD card slot, music player and Bluetooth.The Toshiba 705T measures 47 x 98 x 23mm and weighs 121g.
Vodafone K.K. will make the 705T first available in the Kanto-Koshin region on 3 June 2006. The Vodafone 705T will be rolled out in other regions when preparations are in place.

Vodafone recently sold their Japanese business unit. This sale could by far not cover the huge loss the company reported this week. We talk 41 billion dollars. Vodafone says it is not that bad and investors should have no worries. It is after all the largest mobile phone company in the world.
