I am waiting everyday that my wireless carrier here in Germany is finally offering the Nokia N80 3G mobile phone. Now PC Magazine in the United States got their hands on a brand new N80.
It looks like they actually got this N80 from Japanese gadget importer Dynamism, who sells you the unlocked N80 for $799. Looking at this price, I am happy to continue waiting until O2 is giving me the N80 for a couple of bucks so I am not leaving them.
Quote from the N80 review:
"Connectivity is a big strength here: You get EDGE, stereo Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. EDGE speeds were a bit poky, at around 80 Kbps, when the phone was hooked up to a laptop as a modem.
Wi-Fi zipped along at up to 925 Kbps using the built-in Web browser. I connected the phone up to several Plantronics headsets, a PC, and a Mac via Bluetooth.
