Blackberry Video Player in Action

The Blackberry devices are not known for their media capabilities. Now a video player from Sona is trying to change all that.

Screenshots of the Sona video player for Blackberry appeared in this discussion thread. The same poster also published this first look review of the video player running on a Blackberry 8700g. The Sona video player only works with Blackberry 7130e and 8700. The video player is distributed by CanWest MediaWorks. The Sona video player requires specially converted videos. So you cannot rip them yourself yet. The video player beta version is available here.
