Archos announced today that their new Archos 104 4GB color screen mp3 player will be in stores on July 1st. If you cannot wait, Amazon.com is already shipping them today for $149.99.
The Archos 104 measures 3.6 x 1.7x 0.5 inches and weighs 2.8 ounces. Archos uses a 4GB hard-drive in this player, which is apparently cheaper than 4GB of flash memory.
Other features of the Archos 104 include a 1.5 inch color OLED screen, Microsoft PlaysForSure, MP3, WAV and WMA-DRM file format support, 14 hours of battery life and photo viewer.The Archos 104 comes standard with stereo headphones, neck strap and USB 2.0 cable.
Amazon.com only ships the grey-metallic Archos 104 right now. The pink and the silver have no shipping date yet.
