Who knows why we're such pushovers for cool gadgets that manipulate water, but there's a cool fireplace, of all things, that exploits that fascination, created by Hearth Falls, "the fireplace alternative". It's a real fireplace with centerpiece dominance that can be augmented with an actual waterfall.
We're not talking about that fake "looks like a fireplace" stuff. This thing's the real deal. You can also turn off the fire, should you need to cool down in the summer, and just let the waterfall take center stage, making it the ideal year-round chimney enhancer. You can just tell by the picture that this is meant for the high-class society, and it must be expensive because the price isn't even listed on their online catalog, but it would make a great, conversation-starting addition to any house.
