Show Your Geekness with the Qtopia Greenphone

Trolltech announced the Qtopia Greenphone, the first open Linux mobile device for application developers. What better way to show that you are a Linux developer than rolling with the Greenphone.

Greenphone will be offered as part of a complete software development kit (SDK) and includes Trolltech’s Qtopia Phone Edition, a comprehensive application platform and user interface for Linux-based mobile phone.

The Trolltech Greenphone offers a development environment that is equivalent to a GSM/GPRS mobile phone with the capability to re-flash the applications memory.

Features include QVGA touch screen, Intel XScale 312 mHz PXA2, 64MB RAM & 128MB Flash memory, mini-sd card slot, 1.3MP camera, USB and Bluetooth. The Trolltech Greenphone will be available mid-September in limited quantities only. Oh, even limited, making it even more desirable.
More details in this Trolltech press-release and on the Greenphone product page.
