Reuters reports that Palm will announce a new TREO Smartphone on September 12th in the UK.
The new TREO is still supposed to ship this year. No details are revealed at this point about the feature set of the new Palm TREO. It is expected though that it will feature 3G, wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The new TREO the Reuters story is talking about is most likely the leaked Treo 750. Engadget Mobile has recently published photos (Why leakers cannot make decent photos is beyond me - they are always blurry) of a Cingular branded Treo 750 with 3G support.
The code name for the Palm Treo 750 is apparently Lennon. A second new Treo for this year from Palm is supposed to have the code name Nitro. More details also on Engadget Mobile.
