Samsung announces a 70 inch LCD HDTV with full HD resolution to go into production 2007.
Besides full HD resolution the huge LCD has conical viewing angle of 180 degrees. Other specifications include 8ms response time and 2,000:1 contrast ratio.
Samsung competes with this large LCD panel also with their own large-scale Plasma TVs. A 80 inch Samsung Plasma is on the market since a while.Samsung will begin producing the new 70 inch LCD TV panel during the first half of 2007.
