Ugobe introduced their amazing 'alive' Pleo baby Dinosaur robot at the DEMO 06 in February.
The company just informed us that the initial target for the Pleo release of Q3 2006 has slipped. Customers will be able to pre-order earliest on December 24th. Pleo will ship early March 2007 and will also show up then on store shelves.
So there is no baby Dino for you to play with this Christmas. You might be busy anyway jumping around in front of your TV playing the Nintendo Wii.
If you have to, watch this video of cute Pleo, it might make you sad though, because you cannot own one until March 2007.
About Ugobe:
Ugobe developed a Life Form Operating System (LIFE OS), a vocabulary of accurate responses to sensory input. The company already has $18 million in purchase orders and the Furby co-inventor Caleb Chung on its board. Find out more on the Ugobe site.
