Sony announces VAIO LS1 TV/PC Combo in the United States.
The Sony VAIO LS1 is featuring a framed display with a transparent border for a cool floating effect. The LS1 integrates a PC into a slim chassis hidden behind the back of a flat-panel 19 inch WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050px) LCD display.
The new VAIO LS1 TV/PC model incorporates an Intel Core Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, 250 GB HDD, built-in wireless and a NTSC TV tuner.
The VAIO LS1 TV/PC Combo will be available in mid-September for about $2,100 nationwide.
More details in this Sony press-release. PCMag (via Engadget) already published a review of the Sony LS1.
