Sandisk announces the new Sansa c200 portable music player with color screen that sells for a ultra-low $99.99 with 2GB flash memory - much cheaper than a 2GB Apple iPod nano.
The new Sandisk Sansa c200 features a 1.4inch LCD color screen and a microSD™ expansion slot. Other features of the price breaking mp3 player are FM tuner, 15 hour battery life, FM recorder, USB 2.0 and Microsoft Windows PlaysForSure compatible.
Measurements of the new Sandisk player are 1.3"x 3.1"x0.6".The Sandisk Sansa c200 comes with 1GB or 2GB.
Suggested retail prices are $79.99 for the 1GB unit and $99.99 for the 2GB unit, and the SanDisk c200 is expected to be available from retailers in the U.S. and Europe in October.

Sandisk is moving in a good direction with their digital audio players. The Sansa e200 series gets good reviews and is also competitively priced.
