We just had this Vacuum Tube USB drive concept on yesterday. Now I just saw that Japanese Gadget Exporter Audio Cubes offers the Thanko iBlueTube iPod Vacuum Tube Amplifier.
The Thanko iBlueTube was announced earlier this year in Japan. This unique iPod amplifier is not available outside of Japan, besides from exporters like Audio Cubes.
The Thanko iBlueTube sells for $449 on Audio Cubes.
The iBlueTube features S-video output (to watch videos on TV), RCA stereo output and USB. The iPod dock pushes out 12W on two speakers.
The transparent tube covers are removable and 2 bright blue LED lights provide for the geeky look.
More details on Audio Cubes.
