Dual Electronics announces the XDVD8182 mobile theater with iPod control support.
The new Dual Car DVD player sports a 7 inch touch screen TFT display. Other features include iPod interface, 5.1 channel preamp outputs, audio/video inputs, 2 video outputs for headrest monitors, rear view camera input and 200W amplifier.
The suggested retail price is $699. Current deals start at $496. These once defunct electronics brands do not die. I own actually a Dual hi-fi system I bought 12 years ago. It still works great. It is a Dual branded Denon made system as far as I remember, so that is maybe why its still working.
The Dual brand belongs to Korean Namsung. Wonder if Samsung ever tried to sue them for this name.
More details about the XDVD8182 can be found in this press-release.
