Panasonic announces the DMR-BW200 and DMR-BW100 Blu-ray disc recorder with hard-drives in Japan.
The Panasonic DMR-BW200 comes with a 500GB HDD and the DMR-BW100 comes with a 200GB hard-drive. When recording HDTV a 200GB hard-drive becomes very small very fast.
Of course writing Blu-ray discs is the new feature here. The new Panasonic Blu-ray recorder support single and dual layer Blu-ray disc recording.
The DMR-BW200 features all-in-all 7 tuners. 2 HD programs can be recorded simultaneously to the HDD. Of course Panasonic has added their signature SD-Card slots on the new devices as well.
The new Panasonic Blu-ray recorder DMR-BW200 and DMR-BR100 will start shipping on November 15th in Japan. The Price is still open.
