The Arctic Sound E351-WM earphones are also available in versions that are the same without a mic in black or white colors. The earphones have a frequency response of 10Hz to 24kHz and an impedance of 32 ohm. The sensitivity of the earphones is 104 dB/mW and they have an output power of 15mW. The cable is 1.3m long with a 3.5mm stereo plug and the earphones weight 5g. They also include a pigtail that lets the earphones be used with a mic and headphone jack on a computer.

The wooden cased Arctic Sound E352 earphones I checked out last week sounded fantastic. The Arctic Sound E351-WM is very similar to the other set of earphones, but the ones I am checking out today have metal cases. The sound quality from the Arctic Sound E351-WM is very good. I like the bass reproduction of the E352 earphones better, it seems deeper has more punch to my ears. The Arctic Sound E351-WM have good bass, it just seemed a bit weaker on the same tracks compared to the E352 earphones.

That said, any user of a music phone will be probably gladly give up a bit of bass strength to get a mic so they can make and receive phone calls easily. The mic works well for calls and picks up your voice clearly without any issues. The Arctic Sound E351-WM ships with three different ear tip sizes for comfort. The silver and white color scheme of the earphones I tested looks like something Apple would make and goes with my iPhone very well.

While I think the bass is not as good on the Arctic Sound E351-WM as the E352 earphones, the overall sound quality is very good. The bass is deep and low providing better bass than most earphones I have tested. The mids and highs are clear and crisp as well.

The earphones ship with a zippered case that has a foam ring inside to wind the cord around. As I mentioned in the previous Arctic Sound earphone review, the foam ring is the only cheap part of the Arctic Sound E351-WM earphones. A plastic wheel would hold up better, the foam one is easy to crush and flexes more than plastic would if you wrap the cord snugly around it. The Arctic Sound E351-WM earphones sell for $53.95 and models without the mic are $42.20.

  • Good bass
  • Mic
  • Works with PCs

  • Foam spool in case is cheap

The Arctic Sound E351-WM is down on bass a bit compared to other Arctic Sound earphone models, but the earphones offer strong sound and a good mic.
