Logitech MX Revolution Review

Logitech is a maker of some great computer peripherals from game controllers to keyboards and mice. Over at Everything USB I took a look at the new Logitech MX Revolution mouse and found it to be quite revolutionary. The coolest feature of the MX Revolution is the free-wheel scroll mode. This mode allows the scroll wheel to spin freely, for up to 10 seconds I found in testing. On some pages the free-wheel scroll wouldn’t work but overall it was a great mouse. Free-wheel scroll isn’t the only cool thing about the MX Revolution. You also get a quick search function that allows you to highlight a word and get search results including the word you highlight at the touch of a button. Document quick flip is also useful and rather like alt-tab on steroids. Alas lefty’s, the MX Revolution is for right hand use only. The rechargeable battery has good life and charges quickly as well. Overall I thought the MX Revolution was one of the best general use mice on the market. Start your own revolution, compare prices on the MX Revolution
