That Apple will release a 3G iPhone in 2008 is pretty much certain. The question is where and when. An UBS analyst is now guessing that Apple will release a 3G iPhone mid-year.
The rumor is based on 3G chip supply from Infineon for Apple.The 3G chips are of course supporting HSDPA.
In November AT&T's CEO let us know that the 3G iPhone is coming in 2008. Well, I don't think we know anything more now.
