JVC is apparently developing a slim projection TV that can be mounted on walls and is supposed to be not deeper than current Plasma or LCD TVs.
The new JVC projection screen is supposed to be 270mm deep. It is consuming less power and is lighter than a same-size LCD TV.
JVC uses concave mirrors to narrowly focus the light beams.
JVC is supposed to introduce this new slim-line projection TVs in Spring 2007.
The interesting aspect will be if this TVs are cheaper than LCD or Plasma panels.
