Mitsubishi developed a special LCD display for rear-view cameras in trucks that can be placed instead of the rear-view mirror.
The Mitsubishi CM-7200 7 inch color screen is especially designed to be mountable in front of the windshield. Most other rear-view camera displays are inside the dashboard.
To reduce vibrations Mitsubishi reduced the weight of the display. The brightness is 500cd/m2.The Mitsubishi CM-7200 ships on November 1st.
Now you just need a truck to be able to install this cool display.
More details in this Mitsubishi press-release (Japanese).
