The code name for the chip is 2.4 GHz Kentsfield and the retail name will be Core 2 Quad. I wonder if this 2.4 GHz part may be the extreme edition leaving the 2.13 GHz part as the more mainstream CPU.Still no exact date on the launch of the parts, mid-November is as close we can get to the real launch date. The guys over at The Inq saw the 2.4 GHz Core 2 Quad up and running, so it is more than mere rumor and speculation. Buy your own Intel CPU here.
