LG.Philips' New Super Thin LCD Display

It seems that LG.Philips is set to make my beloved Razr seem portly by introducing a significantly thinner TFT-LCD display for use in mobile phones and other electronic gadgets.

The new display is expected to usher in a new series of super thin phones starting in 2007. News.com says that LG has no buyers of the display tech as of yet, but we should expect them to be lined up around the corner to buy it.Thin is in, if not on models in Paris, certainly in the cell phone space. The thin profile of the Motorola Razr was one of the main selling points for many buyers and the Razr continues to be a top seller well after its introduction. News.com also says the displays are already in mass production as we speak. If you want thin now, buy your Razr here.
