How much magnification can you get out of this beast? Zeiss says the lens has a 21x magnification. Not so much as you might expect given the size of the lens.Thanks to the sheer girth of the lens, special mechanisms for focusing and aiming it were developed incorporating servos. No word on the cost of this thing, or the use the person who custom ordered it has in mind. Perhaps they intend to take photos of satellites in orbit, sort of a reverse Google Earth. Buy your own much more reasonable Zeiss lens here.
