We already know this since long time that the Trade Show Booth Babes are the real stars. Reuters runs now a story with some background on how some Japanese 'Companions' are starting to become celebrities with fans following them to each Trade show.
The photo shows Rika Ando, who was at the Panasonic booth at the CEATEC 2006. She is already a celebrity Booth Babe. On her site (Japanese) dubbed Channel Ando-Rika you can find out more about her and her schedule.

The latest booth babe photos from Japan are from the TGS 2006. More Models and Gadget photos.
