Sony is getting out of the monitor business in USA, Japan and Europe.

Sony was number 10 in terms of sales in the monitor business. Apparently because of low margins Sony quits the monitor business and only will continue to make them for professional market. So if you still want to get a Sony monitor, now is the time. More details on Heise Online.
