Nintendo Wii Endcaps and Markups

The guys over at Engadget got their hands on a pic of what the endcaps for the Wii destined to be in your Local Target will look like. They also got their grubby paws on a markup sheet from CompUSA showing the cost and markup for the Wii console as well as some accessories.

The whopping markup on the Wii console is a mere $12.50. Then most gamers and geeks know the profit isn’t in the console, but rather the coin is made in the games and accessories.

    The prices are as follows:
  • Wii Console- MSRP 249.99, cost $237.50
  • Wii Remote Control- MSRP $39.99, cost $32.00
  • Wii Points Card- MSRP 24.99, cost $17.00
  • Wii Classic Controller- MSRP $19.99, cost $14.50
  • Wii Nunchuk Controller- MSRP $19.99, cost $14.50
  • Wii Gpak Organizer- MSRP $29.99, cost $18.95
  • Wii Rayman Raving Rabids- MSRP $49.99, cost $41.20
