The DataTraveler Secure is water resistant up to four feet to keep the drive from being damaged by spills and rain. Rather than use a plastic case, Kingston went with a more durable metal case for the drive.When used via USB 2.0 the write speeds are a claimed 10 MB/s with read speeds of 24 MB/s. My Traveler software is also included to allow you to synchronize files with a host device such as a PC or laptop.
