Sandisk doubles the capacity of available microSD cards with the introduction of the 2GB microSD card.
At the CES 2006 in January Sandisk introduced the 1GB microSD card. The 2GB microSD card is now the largest microSD card available.
According to an analysis by SanDisk, 49%of the latest mobile phones that have memory card slots are using the microSD format.
The 2GB Sandisk microSD card will be available starting October 25th in Japan. Shop for microSD Cards.
