Benchmarks

Specs
The iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather comes with a 100-year warranty and is from thick full grain leather with pigskin interior. The device will fit the iPad and other gadgets up to the diameter of a grape fruit. I am looking at the large pouch, but the pouches are available in medium and small sizes too. The leather the iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather is made from is 2 to 2.2mm thick.

In Use
My review pouch is the same dark coffee brown leather than the briefcase from Saddleback Leather I reviewed the other day was made from. The pouch is exceptionally well made using marine grade stitches and thick full grain leather. The pouch will distress with age and look better, but should never wear out. The iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather has the best warranty I have ever heard of at 100 years for defects. There is really nothing to fall apart on this thing. It’s a thick leather pouch you slide the iPad into.

The iPad fits very well and snugly into the pouch. You can pick the pouch up and not worry about the iPad slipping out. The thick leather should do a good job of absorbing shock if you drop it while it is inside the pouch. The thick leather will prevent anything from getting through to damage your iPad. The smaller pouches will fit your iPhone and other gadgets that you want to protect and look good.

I really like the iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather. It looks great and smells like a leather store. In a few years when your iPad is worn out and obsolete you will be able to cram your next gadget into this same pouch. The iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather sells for $55. The small gadget pouch will fit the iPhone and other devices and costs $31. The medium pouch will fit devices like the Kindle and sells for $41. All sizes are available in carbon black, tobacco brown, chestnut, and the dark coffee brown I am reviewing today.

Verdict

Conclusion

Verdict
The iPad Sleeve from Saddleback Leather is expensive there is no denying that. However, it is bulletproof and will last longer than your iPad and has a massive warranty.
