Levi Strauss Europe and Modelabs Group announced today an exclusive licensing agreement to design, produce, market and distribute a range of mobile phones and mobile phone accessories for men and women under the Levi’s brand label in 2007.
The gold RAZR by Dolce & Gabbana has been a big hit. So it is naturally for companies to explore more cross-branding of mobile phones.
There are no details yet on what Levi's cell phones will be available or how they will look like.French ModeLabs already did some mobile phone branding deals like that. One example is the Elite Model Look Mobile phone (site).
ModeLabs Group, the originator of the "Mobile On Demand" offer, is a
customized design manufacturer (CDM) specialized in mobiles phones using
new generation technology.
More details on the Modelabs site.
