Intel’s roadmap is said to expect quad core CPU’s take account for only 3% of their entire processor sales volume for a full year after the launch of the quad core parts. Prices should come down towards the end of the third quarter of 2007 when the next gen quad core CPUs code named Yorkfield launch.This time frame happens to coincide for what Digitimes claims to be the launch window for AMDs quad core parts.
