NVIDIA G80 to Drop on November 8?

Well it seems that the leaked launch date for the G80 series graphics cards was leaked by NVIDIA themselves, November 8th. Gamers can I get a W00t!? You can see the a rendered girl eye, which is the best description I can give over at the NVIDIA site along with the “Reality Redefined” marketing speak emblazoned on the image.

According to the Inq, G80 based cards are in the wild already, though I don’t know any reviewers that have them yet. I suspect review samples to turn up in the next week or so, but I don’t know that for sure. For those that have been under a rock for the last month or so, the G80 is NVIDIA’s first DX10 graphics card that is also said to scream in DX 9 applications too. You can see more info on them here and here. Ironically, it seems the cards will beat DX10 to market so they had better scream for DX9 as well. Buy your own NVIDIA graphics card here. Via the Inq
