Sony Announces a Silver PS2

Sony has announced that there will be a silver PS2 in addition to the black slim one we have already. The new silver one looks very PS3 like and is presumably designed to fool the parents of gamers who don’t know any better into buying the wrong console.

After the recent Lik-Sang debacle I have to wonder how many gamers still care. The again lets face it; we gamers are a fickle bunch and if the PS3 should happen to rock we will all be out buying one. With the holiday season rapidly approaching, all the non-gamers out there shopping for a gamer be warned. The PS2 is not the PS3 and if you want to really make a game geek mad, buy them the wrong console. Buy your own PS2 here. Via Gizmodo
