New World Record: SMS with 160 Characters in 41.52s

16 year old Ang Chuang Yang from Singapore is the new world record holder in SMS typing.

This weekend Ang Chuang Yang beat the world record by sending a SMS with 160 characters in 41.52 seconds. The old record was at 42.22s.

Of course the predictive text functions are turned off. He really types 3.8 characters per second. This is quite amazing. You can try yourself how fast you are with this Guinness approved text:
"The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human. "
