600,000 Nintendo Wii Sold in 8 Days

Nintendo was able to sell 600,000 of their new Wii consoles in the first 8 days in the United States.

Sales of consoles, games and accessories totaled about $190 million says a report on Bloomberg.

Nintendo Wii also conquered already the comedy stage and was featured in the funny Colbert Show (Daily Show Spin-off) on Comedy Central. See the Youtube video. Via Joystiq.
At least Mr. Colbert got his hands on a Wii. It is still nowhere to be found. When is the second wave of Wii coming?
