Sony released today new firmware for the Sony PS3 and the Sony PSP.
The new Sony PS3 firmware 1.30 features a Bluetooth update to support the BD remote, HDMI output options for movie playback, a new backup utility and you can choose which output resolutions your TV supports. I am if this option fixes the issue the PS3 has with old HDTVs.The new Sony PSP firmware 3.02 is only a security fix for the PaRappaTheRapper game.
The firmware updates are still only documented online in Japanese: PS3 firmware 1.30 info and Sony PSP firmware 3.02 info.
