The Nintendo Wii web browser from Opera is possibly still coming before Christmas. The Swedish Nintendo site had briefly information up that pointed to a December 23rd release date.
Update:
Beta of Wii Browser coming Dec. 22nd
I4U reader Eric H. tipped us about it. He said he also called a Nordic distributor which confirmed this date as being the European launch date for the Opera Wii browser, possibly the global launch date. Now the information has been removed again from the Nintendo.se site.
Well it would be a nice Christmas present from Nintendo to make the Wii browser available for the lucky ones who have a Nintendo Wii until then. See the Nintendo Wii browser in action on the Wii.com site.
