Aliph announces that their new version of the Jawbone bone-conducting Bluetooth headset with Noise Shield Technology is available exclusively from Cingular Wireless still in time for the holidays.
The active noise cancellation technology used in the new Jawbone has been originally developed for the military. Aliph's Bluetooth headset separates your speech from the background noise and is therefore able to isolate only your words and reduce the background noise.
Walter Mossberg from the Wallstreet Journal already got his ears on the new Jawbone and published a rather positive review. Only in windy conditions the Jawbone Noise Shield fails.
The new cool Jawbone Bluetooth headset is supposed to be available in Cingular Wireless retail stores right now for $119.99. The first Jawbone bone-conducting headset came on the market in 2004.
More details on the Jawbone site. PSFK has a interview with Jawbone and a unboxing video of the new Jawbone.
