Samsung announced the new BD-P1200 Blu-ray player.
The BD-P1200 follows Samsung's first Blu-ray player BD-P1000.
Samsung improved audio and video quality on the BD-P1200, but who cares. Blu-ray only players are dead. Either you get a Sony PS3, or get a dual format HD player like the new LG BH100 Super Multi Blue Player.

The current Samsung BD-P1000 already has a price-tag of $799.99. The new one will be most likely around $1,000 again. Why play not play it save and get a player that plays HD DVD and Blu-ray. This way you are on the winning side.
