Hitachi introduces at the CES 2007 a new camcorder that records directly either on DVD or a 30GB HDD.
The Hitachi Hybrid camcorder DZH500A writes DVD formats, including DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM and DVD+RW and features a 30GB hard drive, 30X optical zoom and SD memory card slot, 1 sec. Quick Start and 2.7 inch widescreen LCD in true 16:9 aspect ratio and a 30x optical zoom.
The Hitachi DZH500A will be available in April for about $800.
The Hitachi DZHS300A with 8GB HDD and SD memory card slot is available now.
