Not just any lamps mind you, these have built in wireless speakers for use with your home theater or iPod. To use the system you have to also get the companies Maestro wireless transmitter for use with your receiver. You can even get a separate wireless sub from the company as well, though since each Maestro can only stream two channels the sub will need its own Maestro. Naturally the lamps have to be plugged into an outlet, but so do the other lamps in your living room. There is also a plug in the lamp base to allow you to connect your iPod. You might expect these things to cost big bucks but surprisingly they are rather reasonably priced at $280 per lamp and the Maestro runs $80. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech.
