What I hadn’t really considered with the SSD disks was the performance increase when launching apps and shutting down.Everyone seems to harp on the performance increase you see when booting up, but you also get great improvements in the speed at which your applications launch and after a long day the system shuts down much faster and for those of you that lean towards slacking at work it can get your game of solitaire off the screen that much faster if the boss heads your way.
