Sony announced the HDR-UX7 camcorder at the CES 2007. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders now and the new AVCHD camcorder will ship on March 22nd.
The Sony HDR-UX7 feature Sony’s 3MP ClearVid CMOS sensor, which produces 1080i HD video quality and takes 6MP digital still photos.
Sony's Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization is supposed to virtually give you blur-free results with both digital stills and video.
With dual record mode the Sony HDR-UX7 can shoot video, while simultaneously capturing a 4.6MP digital still picture.
The new Sony HDR-UX7 supports the much hyped x.v.Color technology.
You can enter 1080i HD home video era by pre-ordering the Sony HDR-UX7 for $1,299.99 on Amazon.com.
