LG updates its portable DMB TVs and portable media players. The new ones are feature touch screen interfaces similar to the LG Prada Phone.
The new FM37 and FM33 are follow-up models to the FM35 portable DMB TV that LG introduced last year. The interface last year was still featuring conventional buttons.
The FM37 comes in 2GB and 4GB configurations and sell for 249,000 won (~$264) and 299,000 won (~$318) respectively.
The T50 comes in 1GB and 2GB flavors selling for 189,000 won (~$200) and 249,000 won (~$264).
The smaller FM33 features 1GB, 2GB or 4GB memory and sells for 149,000 won (~$158), 179,000 won (~$190) or 239,000 won (~$254).
More details in this LG press-release (Korean). There is no word yet if LG will bring these portable media players on the market outside of Korea.
Despite lots of great innovative product releases and announcements (e.g.: BH100, Prada Phone, Chocolate), LG actually posted a 85% declined profit for the fourth Quarter in 2006. The reason is apparently the falling flat-screen prices and sales. More details on Business Week.
