Not sure why Ugobe is publishing the pre-order details for its amazing dino robot baby PLEO on a Saturday, but this is the date mentioned on their site (via Engadget).
Ugobe introduced the designer life form Pleo at the DEMO 06 a year ago. Looks like the company finally gets closer to actually ship the 1-week-old camarasaurus sauropod. Originally the release date was scheduled for Q3 2006 with a MSRP for $199. Last August Ugobe pushed the release into March 2007.
Along with the Spyke robot, the PLEO is the most exciting new robots to hit the market this year.
More details about PLEO are available on the Ugobe site.
