Now we have the Plasma Light Bulb that is the same thing on a smaller scale. You screw it into a standard light fixture and you are ready to watch the light show. I would expect that the device is more aimed at lamp use rather than in an overhead light unless you just don’t.The good news if you always wanted one of these things is that the Plasma Bulb sells for $10.
