A photo on a Japanese catalog appeared that is supposedly the unannounced Canon HV50 HDV camcorder.
The Canon HV50 is supposed to feature 3 CMOS chips, 1080i and 720p recording, 18x optical zoom and 5MP still photo resolution.
The Canon HV20 HD camcorder will start ship in April. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders for $1,099.
I do not think we will see the HV50 any time soon.
