CeBit 2007 already very Successful at Half Time

The largest IT trade-show is off to a good start. At half-time the CeBit 2007 has 10% more visitors then 2006.

This is quite a success considering that the show misses several high profile exhibitors. Over 200,000 visitors have already been at the CeBit this year. The show ends on the 21st.

On the other hand the economy in Germany is in good shape again. Being an IT focused trade-show the CeBit 2007 also benefits from the recent Microsoft Windows Vista launch.
The number of visitors from Germany has increased by 16%. This year's CeBit also features a total of 1,000 conferences and lectures, more than ever before. More details on the CeBit site.

For I4U News, the number of interesting product announcement was like every year moderate. The highlights so far have been the new Samsung Q1 Ultra, Asus Sound cards and the Commodore resurrection.

Charbax has published several videos on his CeBit video site featuring some UMPCs and other stuff.
See the videos here.

If you are into PMPs, PMP Today posted several videos of PMPs at the CeBit.
