The classic Dragon's Liar arcade game is going to be released on Blu-ray disc, interactivity implemented in BD-J (Blu-ray Disc Java).
Digital Leisure remastered the game footage and the new bonus material to play on 1080p full high definition.
The Blu-ray Dragon's Liar features of course 5.1 surround sound.
The bonus material includes new interviews with creators: Don Bluth, Gary Goldman and Rick Dyer.
Because this game is in BD-J, you can play it on any Blu-ray player with the remote control, you do not need the Sony PS3 for it to work.
"I’ve seen the newly restored footage and it just looks amazing" says Don Bluth, original creator of Dragon’s Lair. "It looks even better than I can remember. The visuals, the 5.1 surround sound audio, all I can say is ‘Wow!’ Now a whole new generation can enjoy Dragon’s Lair all over again."
The Dragon’s Lair Blu-ray version will be available April 9th. You can pre-order it on the Digital Leisure shop for $49.95.
