Texas Insturments Proves not All is Bigger in Texas with the Pico DLP Projector

Sure mobile TV and video on cell phones sounds really cool till you consider that you will have to watch on a tiny screen that will be 2 inches if you are lucky. That’s where Texas Instruments is stepping in with the tiny Pico projector.

This Lilliputian projector uses TI DLP tech and is so small that is can fit into a cell phone. The projector measures in at a mere 1.3 inches and can put out DVD quality images in widescreen TV sizes. That means you could actually watch quality programming downloaded to your cell phone in big screen sizes wherever you go. I think this tech would also make for a big boon in cell phone gaming as well. Who knows when we will see this tech making a public debut, but it is sure to happen. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech
