Microsoft announces to introduce Windows Live Messenger IM services on the Xbox 360.
Windows Live Messenger on Xbox 360 will allow to IM with Xbox 360 users, users on Microsoft Windows-based PCs and Windows Mobile-powered devices.
The Xbox 360 Spring Update that will be available on May 7th provides Xbox 360 owners worldwide with access to Windows Live Messenger.
On the current messaging service on Xbox Live the 6 million users already send two million text and voice messages a day. To unify the whole Microsoft IM world makes total sense and should have already happened earlier.The Xbox 360 controller with QUERTY keyboard shown above is supposed to be available this summer.
Microsoft Windows Live Messenger has more than 20 billion relationships and more than 260 million active accounts.
